Ronna Myles-Era was raised in Washington state, but has a strong connection to her Alaskan heritage. She learned to weave from her mother and grandmother, who both have inspired her art. Ronna loves to make her art out of materials she finds in nature and has woven with cedar root, sweet grass, strawberry runners, maiden hair fern, wax linen, and fish skin.
