These earrings were created by Kodiak Alutiiq Seal Amanda Togise (Miles). Amanda was born and raised in Kodiak and now resides in Anchorage with her husband, Dennis and their five children: Juliana, Terrence, Natalia, and twin girls Alana and Tatiana. Her parents are Sharon Wolkoff and the late Mike Miles Sr. Amanda's mom has inspired her to be involved with their culture since she was a young girl. She also participated in The Kodiak Alutiiq Dancers in the early 1990’s and went to Spirit Camps in the summer time where she learned to bead and sew leather. Amanda recently picked up beading and sewing and am excited to share my work with you.

These earrings hang approximately 2 inches in length from the ear.
