JL $15 Marmot Dreams

Marmot Dreams was a book that happened by accident, and really was an afterthought. Jerry Laktonen, the author is a woodcarver, wanted to make an Alutiiq Kayak, the "baidarka". Jerry had started carving it when he happen to see the marmots in the Washington History Museum in Tacoma, Washington. He immediately liked them, and upon learning they were marmot, he was hooked. Jerry started to make stories about the marmots thus resulting in this book Marmot Dreams.
